The recent shutdown of the US government has impacted the entire Nation. Since October 1st 800,000 US citizens have lost their jobs or been laid off. Some families will have no source of income and could go hungry. The shutdown has affected not only the USA but also many other countries who have lent America money. The shutdown took place on October first due to the Affordable Care Act, which was to make preventive care affordable for everybody, which was supposed to start on that date. If the health care service would be set in motion, the government would not be able to pay for it. The set deadline of payment for the debt-ceiling is October 17th, but it is an unlikely chance of success. Because of America's debt, the world has been drastically affected.
